Rainforest Reflections

This is a gallery wrap Collage/Mixed water-based medium on canvas. I used acrylics, caran d' ache art crayons, and various handmade papers. There are layers of handmade paper, rice paper, and shedded snakeskin to create texture and add depth. I collect shedded snakeskin from our pet Ball Python for my art, as he grows, he sheds skin, so please know that no snake was harmed in the creating of this art. A trip to the Amazon in Ecuador inspired this painting.
